Where else can you stand in front of a tomb and know that inside lies a real king or queen from the 1600's that you only ever read about in history books? Visiting the Abbey makes it all real. They now use an audio guide tour which I highly recommend. Keeps the crowds moving and gives you all the information you need. The museum and cloisters can be visited after the audio tour ends. It's well worth the visit for those who appreciate the architecture, history and/or religion!

The majestic architecture and spiritual atmosphere make it one of the most remarkable places to visit in London. From the moment I stepped inside, I was enveloped in a sense of serenity and peace. The magnificent stained glass windows and intricate details of the interior are breathtaking. The spiritual aura of the abbey is palpable, and I felt an overwhelming sense of awe and reverence. I am so glad I had the opportunity to experience this magnificent place. Thank you platinumlist!

Quite simply one of the most interesting things to do in London. The kid friendly audio guide is a great idea to keep even the most bored kids engaged. Oozing with history and significance and importantly cosy on a cold winters day.
